My first up voted post on Quora
If
you were not nervous about it, then your prospect of doing well would
simply not be as good. Are you going to stand up there, freeze, and then
run off with tears? If you think this might happen, then just don't do
it. Your crowd probably does not deserve to be entertained so much!
You're too good for them. Yes, I've seen this happen and I remember it
vividly. Chances are you are not that good, and will do just fine.
