Wondering why there are so many places where to put ones' photos?
I have several accounts that allow me to put my photos in different places. What's the difference between flickr Simon Luisi and Instagram Simon Luisi?
And most importantly, does the question matter and if so how so?
I guess that just by preparing this post, I got some answer. It seems easier to download a picture once it is on flickr than it is on Instagram. Now, that's a big deal.

Gardening this Spring?
Bumble Bee Gardens can make your back yard look like this. All native plants are used which allows the native wildlife to interact in a more ecologically friendly way and this also makes the maintenance of the plants easier.

No illegal park entry, Leslie's Spit
In an apparent effort to stop the flow of cyclists that come illegally inside the weekend park, a rock and now a few pylons to go along have been erected at the entrance of Leslie's Spit.

Quora asked if a cap on political donation lead to better politics. This was my quick answer.
Yes, this helps, and in surprising ways sometimes. At the national level in Canada, new spending limits has resulted in the main political parties now doing as the bulk of their supporters want them to do. The introduction of spending limits has resulted in all major political parties promising fairer elections, with fewer wasted votes. Provincially, some provinces do have a cap on political donations but some don't. British Columbia allows large corporate donations and as a result, trophy hunting is allowed in BC, despite the fact that the majority of people oppose it. Hunting organizations had given tens of thousands of dollars to help the main political parties at election time, there.

Unusual Duck Death
A female Mallard was found dead this morning April 26/2016 on the Gerrard St bridge of the Don Valley. This is an unusual sight. There is no window around that would suggest a strike death. I guess that one does not always chooses her place of death?
In other news, many trees seem to be about to show their leaves, and the ground is greener than it used to be. Spring is here.

2016 Canadian Memory Championship coming soon!
Things are going very well with the preparations for the 2016 Canadian Memory Championships. The trophy, the medals, the Memory Disciplines,
are all ready. Registration has already 8 officially registered
contestants. The venue is about to be confirmed. People are going to
come from distant provinces to participate in this event. I’m quite
happy with the way things are going. I’ve just started some paid
publicity on Face Book! We’ll see how that helps.

Dianne Saxe, new EBR Commissioner in Ontario
I went to hear the New EBR Commissioner yesterday. Dianne Saxe was quite gloomy
about the environment but hopeful because the guys with the money are
now at the table of the discussions.
